This a beautiful gold tone asymmetrical now with rhinestone accents in the center. It is by Hattie Carnegie (I have some information about her below but if you have a second look her she is fabulous).
IDEA I LOVE - So brooches are one of my favorite things. I buy brooches that have broken pins all the time and upcycle them into other jewelry but when I find intact brooches I never could alter them or figure out what to do with them. People don't wear brooches anymore BUT...if you look at the last picture I had a great idea find a great and cheap necklace or some very pretty ribbon that goes with the piece and pin it on and you have a stunning statement necklace!!!!
PLEASE NOTE: this listing is for the brooch only the necklace is just to show you what you can do with it.
Hattie Carnegie FYI - Hattie Carnegie was a renowned American fashion designer in the 20s-30s-40s and 50s. She dressed and styled Hollywood but was dedicated to making fashion for all women because "all women should look and feel fabulous", which is why she not only designed clothing but hats and costume jewelry so she could dress a woman from head to toe! Now her beautifully designed costume jewelry is still so stylish and fashionable they are highly sought after.
